Expediter
About The Position
The Expediter is a Front of House team member who serves as a liaison between the front and back of house. The role fulfills dine-in, takeout, online, and catering orders accurately and promptly, with care and attention to presentation, to provide guests with a positive experience. The Expediter also maintains sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards in food preparation areas and follows applicable safety rules, policies, and procedures. The position calls for an energetic, service-focused team player who communicates well with others, works with a sense of urgency, pays close attention to detail, and proactively helps where needed in the restaurant. The listed pay rate is USD $12.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to produce authorized U.S. work documents.
- Must be able to read in English.
- Must have good interpersonal communication skills to work with others.
- Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities
- Put together food orders for takeout and dine-in service.
- Ensure food orders are accurate and pay close attention to details.
- Ensure food presentation meets expectations.
- Package online and catering orders.
- Maintain sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, dishes, and utensils.
- Follow and abide by all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Proactively help where assistance is most needed in the restaurant.
