About The Position

The Expeditor is a front-of-house team member who helps provide customers with a welcoming and efficient restaurant experience. The role includes assisting guests with menu choices and orders, processing transactions, supporting front-line food preparation, and helping maintain customer satisfaction and safety in a busy restaurant environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
Must be able to lift and push 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand for long periods.
Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must follow company Personal Care and Hygiene policies.
Must be able to produce authorized U.S. work documents.
Must have good interpersonal communication skills with customers and other employees.
Must demonstrate a friendly, welcoming attitude, energy as a team player, a sense of urgency, and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcome new and returning guests.
Know all menu items to suggest meals and answer questions.
Verify guest orders for accuracy and manage to-go orders.
Process POS transactions and follow cash-handling procedures.
Operate the cash register, count money, and give correct change.
Count the register with management before and after each shift to identify shortages or overages.
Assist with front-line food preparation, including packaging orders and taking them to tables.
Provide quick, efficient service and quality products to ensure customer satisfaction.
Work and communicate effectively with others in a busy restaurant environment.
Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Proactively help where support is most needed in the restaurant.
