About The Position

Dental365 is hiring an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant for Garden Spot Dental Care in New Holland, Pennsylvania. The role supports dentists in providing compassionate, patient-centered dental care in a modern practice environment. The practice emphasizes patient health over sales and offers a supportive culture without production quotas. The hiring schedule is Monday 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Tuesday 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Wednesday 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Thursday 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and Friday 7:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. two Fridays per month on a two-on, two-off rotation. The salary range is $25–$27 per hour and may vary based on experience and job responsibilities. Benefits listed as available at full-time employment (30 or more hours per week) include health and vision insurance options, a matched 401(k), paid time off and holidays, a self-care day, discounted in-house dental services, and a scrub allowance. Some benefits are also available to part-time employees.

Requirements

Prior dental assisting experience.
Active EFDA license in good standing.
Any certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.
A resume demonstrating a consistent and stable employment history.
Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.
Support the dentist with various procedures.
Take digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection-control requirements.
Sanitize and prepare operatories for treatments.
Follow OSHA and safety policies.
Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed.
Perform other office tasks as needed to support smooth practice operations.
