About The Position

The Executive Lounge Attendant responds to guest requests by assessing guest needs and providing personalized recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction. The role provides food and beverage service and maintains a clean and safe lounge environment. It primarily involves outdoor work and exposure to varying weather conditions, with possible use of cleaning chemicals during the shift. The position is full-time and reports to the Director of Front Office.

Requirements

One year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate clearly with guests and team members.
Fluency in English.
Ability to perform basic computer and POS system functions.
Strong customer service skills focused on providing high-quality guest experiences.
Ability to stand and walk for more than two-thirds of the shift and sit for less than one-third of the time.
Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and push or pull objects weighing up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide food and beverage service promptly to guests.
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the lounge, including its furniture and facilities.
Set up umbrellas, loungers, and sunbeds for guest comfort.
Welcome guests and provide towels, shade, and refreshments.
Respond to guest requests and support a positive lounge experience.
Organize towels and maintain towel racks and boxes.
Clear used towels, glasses, and trash throughout the day.
Communicate with the Food and Beverage Department to support timely guest service.
Monitor deck-space cleanliness through regular sweeps and checks.
Enforce safety protocols and report incidents or damage to leadership.
Clean and maintain lounge chairs, towel bins, and equipment.
Maintain appropriate music genre and volume levels.
