About The Position

Psych Health Associates (PHA) is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Executive Director of Clinical Partnerships & Provider Relations to provide strategic leadership across our statewide behavioral health services in post-acute care settings. This executive-level role serves as a key liaison between facility partners, providers, and internal leadership teams to ensure exceptional clinical collaboration, customer satisfaction, quality outcomes, and program growth. The Executive Director will lead initiatives related to provider engagement, facility partnerships, clinical programming, quality improvement, and special projects while helping drive the continued integration of psychiatry, psychology, and Behavioral Health Integration (BHI) services. The ideal candidate is a collaborative healthcare leader with experience in behavioral health, post-acute care, skilled nursing facilities, provider relations, quality improvement, and healthcare operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of healthcare leadership experience.
  • Experience working with skilled nursing facilities, post-acute care, behavioral health, long-term care, or healthcare services.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders across clinical and operational environments.
  • Ability to travel throughout assigned markets and facilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Psychology, or related field.
  • Clinical licensure (RN, LCSW, LMHC, Psychologist, PMHNP, etc.) preferred but not required.
  • Experience in psychiatry, psychology, behavioral health integration, or population health programs.
  • Experience with quality improvement, provider engagement, and healthcare analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary executive contact for assigned facility partners and corporate accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with facility leadership teams, including Administrators, DONs, Regional Clinical Leaders, and Corporate Executives.
  • Conduct routine facility visits, leadership meetings, and customer satisfaction reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, responsiveness, communication, and clinical outcomes.
  • Assist with facility onboarding, service expansion, retention, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with business development and operations teams to support growth initiatives and new facility implementation.
  • Serve as a strategic resource and leader for psychiatry, psychology, and BHI providers.
  • Foster provider engagement, retention, professional development, and satisfaction.
  • Conduct routine provider check-ins, coaching conversations, and performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with providers regarding facility concerns, productivity opportunities, documentation standards, and quality initiatives.
  • Support provider onboarding, integration, mentorship, and clinical alignment.
  • Assist with recruitment interviews and provider selection when appropriate.
  • Lead development and implementation of innovative behavioral health programs across post-acute settings.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify new clinical service lines and program opportunities.
  • Support ongoing integration of psychiatry, psychology, and Behavioral Health Integration services.
  • Develop workflows and best practices that improve interdisciplinary collaboration and continuity of care.
  • Assist in designing educational initiatives for facility staff, providers, and leadership teams.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend enhancements based on outcomes and partner feedback.
  • Develop and monitor behavioral health quality metrics and facility outcome measures.
  • Track trends related to psychotropic medication utilization, behavioral health interventions, hospital readmissions, behavioral incidents, compliance, and other key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with providers and facility teams to improve quality outcomes and patient care.
  • Participate in quality review meetings, GDR initiatives, clinical committees, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Assist in the development of quarterly quality reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
  • Ensure services align with regulatory requirements, clinical standards, and organizational goals.
  • Partner closely with psychiatry, psychology, BHI, operations, credentialing, recruiting, and business development teams.
  • Promote collaboration between providers and facility care teams.
  • Assist with complex clinical situations requiring coordination among multiple disciplines.
  • Support communication and care coordination efforts that improve patient outcomes and facility satisfaction.
  • Lead high-priority organizational initiatives as assigned by executive leadership.
  • Assist with mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and new service implementations.
  • Participate in conference planning, educational events, customer engagement activities, and industry partnerships.
  • Support development of strategic plans designed to strengthen PHA's position as a leading behavioral health partner in post-acute care.
  • Identify opportunities to improve scalability, quality, customer experience, and operational effectiveness.
