About The Position

Amazon’s Stores Security (StoresSec) organization is seeking a resourceful, innovative, and driven Executive Assistant (EA) to support a VP of Worldwide Security Ops. This role requires a strategic partner who can proactively anticipate problems, create contingency plans, and take effective action with appropriate urgency. It is a Lead EA position offering opportunities to develop and implement policies and best practices across the EA team, fostering strong working relationships with leaders at all levels. The dynamic and multi-faceted nature of this role involves managing high-visibility projects, demanding strong integrity, discretion with confidential information, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator capable of delivering results across multiple objectives simultaneously, often under ambiguous circumstances and competing deadlines. A calm and unflappable demeanor, along with a great sense of humor, are also critical for success. This position requires five days a week in the office.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of senior level leadership support experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Experience with C-level executive calendar management
  • Experience as an Executive Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Complex executive calendar management with detailed scheduling across multiple high-level calendars
  • Serve as a lead EA to the other EAs who support this leadership team, ensuring consistent and excellent executive support is sustained for our leaders and that core administrative functions are maintained throughout the organization
  • Exec preparation, including detailed coordination of reading materials and background information to ensure executive readiness for daily events
  • Coordination and planning of domestic and international travel, including organizing trip agendas and local logistics
  • Completing expense reports, purchase orders, and managing corporate card purchases; participation in budget planning and tracking as needed
  • Planning and coordinating team activities and events
  • Serving as liaison between leadership and team members across multiple geographic regions
  • Managing other core administrative activities (space planning, new-hire onboarding, organizational charts, supply ordering)
