About The Position

TD SYNNEX is seeking a driven and customer-focused Business Development Executive I to join our field sales team. In this role, you will play a key part in expanding our market presence by building strong relationships with customers and vendor partners while driving revenue growth across assigned accounts. This is an entry-level field sales role designed for high-potential professionals eager to develop their careers in technology sales, vendor management, and strategic account growth. You will spend significant time in the field (50%+), meeting with customers and partners face-to-face to understand business needs, deliver value-driven solutions, and strengthen long-term partnerships. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Willingness to travel 50%+ for customer and vendor engagement
  • Relationship Building: Ability to establish trust and influence customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Sales & Business Acumen: Understanding of sales processes, pipeline development, and revenue generation
  • Communication & Presentation: Strong verbal and written communication with confidence presenting to groups
  • Organizational Excellence: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently
  • Adaptability & Drive: Thrives in a fast-paced, field-based environment with a proactive, growth mindset

Responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue & Business Growth: Build pipeline and deliver sales results by expanding existing customer relationships and generating new opportunities.
  • Execute entry-level sales proposals and contribute to achieving revenue and growth targets.
  • Collaborate with internal sales teams to align on strategy and drive account success.
  • Build Customer & Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers and vendor partners.
  • Conduct regular in-person meetings, presentations, and business reviews with key accounts.
  • Serve as a key point of contact to ensure a seamless and value-driven customer experience.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME): Act as a brand and solution expert for assigned vendor products, programs, and technologies.
  • Educate customers on product capabilities, use cases, and value propositions.
  • Stay up to date on market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Drive Demand Generation & Enablement: Identify and create demand through customer outreach, training sessions, events, and enablement activities.
  • Coordinate seminars, workshops, and resource awareness programs to accelerate adoption.
  • Support vendor-led initiatives and align them with customer growth strategies.
  • Analyze Performance & Communicate Insights: Track and analyze program results, customer engagement, and sales performance.
  • Provide insights, recommendations, and growth strategies to Account Managers and leadership.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and deliver compelling presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
