About The Position

The EVS Technician works as part of Environmental Services to support an infection-free hospital environment. The department focuses on sanitation in patient rooms and throughout the facility, helping provide a clean, inviting setting and making patients and visitors feel welcome. Requirements

• No prior experience is required.
• Must be able to use job-specific equipment to clean and maintain the facility.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be able to move, lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies.

Nice To Haves

• Environmental cleaning experience is preferred, especially experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain patient rooms and other areas throughout the facility to support sanitation and infection prevention.
• Provide high-quality service and help maintain a clean, inviting environment for patients and visitors.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team and carry out a varying set of tasks autonomously.
• Operate job-specific equipment used to clean and maintain the facility.
• Move, lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies.
