About The Position
The Environmental Services Technician maintains environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures. The role cleans and maintains areas in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition within the hospital and adjacent buildings, which may require traveling from one facility to another. The technician responds to and initiates communication by phone, handheld radios, pagers, and other devices.
Requirements
- No prior experience required.
- Able to work alone and frequently work after hours.
- Able to stand and walk continually.
- Observe safety standards and use safe work techniques at all times.
- Demonstrate the ability to advocate for and protect patients’ health, safety, and rights.
- Demonstrate awareness of Material Safety Data Sheet and Personal Protective Equipment safety protocols.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
