About The Position
The Environmental Services Technician maintains environmental and infection control standards in accordance with established policies and procedures. The role cleans and maintains hospital areas and adjacent buildings in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition. Work may require traveling from one facility to another. The technician responds to and initiates communication by phone, handheld radios, pagers, and similar devices.
Requirements
- No prior experience required.
- Able to work alone and after hours frequently.
- Able to stand and walk continually.
- Observe safety standards and use safe work techniques at all times.
- Demonstrate awareness of Material Safety Data Sheets and personal protective equipment protocols.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent.
