About The Position
The Environmental Services Technician maintains environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures. The role includes cleaning and maintaining areas in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition within the hospital and adjacent buildings, which may require travel from one facility to another. The technician responds to and initiates communication by phone, handheld radios, pagers, and other listed devices.
Requirements
- No prior experience required.
- Able to work alone; working after hours is frequently required.
- Able to stand and walk continually.
- Observe safety standards and use safe work techniques at all times.
- Demonstrate awareness of safety protocols involving Material Safety Data Sheets and personal protective equipment.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
