About The Position

Sumner Place is seeking a full-time Environmental Services (EVS) Technician to help provide residents with a pristine, homelike environment. The position is scheduled from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and requires working every other weekend. The work is active and involves being on your feet while lifting, pushing, stooping, and twisting to thoroughly clean rooms.

Requirements

• Passion for serving older adults.
• Ability to remain active on your feet and perform lifting, pushing, stooping, and twisting as needed to clean rooms thoroughly.
• Availability to work 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping in resident rooms and assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning.
• Use appropriate chemicals to clean and sanitize resident rooms and assigned areas.
• Complete routine deep cleans in resident rooms.
• Fold and deliver laundry.
• Clean spills and accidents as needed.
