Event Operations Crew Member (Part-Time) - SoFi Stadium
About The Position
The Event Operations Crew Member supports the Operations department with event setup, teardown, changeovers, and daily operational tasks at SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park. The role involves completing assigned work efficiently and safely within established timelines and assisting with the movement, pickup, delivery, and installation of equipment, furniture, and other materials. Crew members help prepare and maintain events, venues, and campus facilities. This is a part-time, event-based position in Inglewood, California. Work schedules vary according to business and event needs and may include weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays. Team members submit availability every Wednesday for a three-week period and must provide at least four days of monthly availability for SoFi Stadium. To maintain active part-time status, team members must submit availability for at least 70% of scheduled events and be available for at least seven of those events. Availability does not guarantee scheduling for every event. The hourly pay range is $20.00 to $22.00.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong project execution skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently and safely under time constraints.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to maneuver between simultaneous functions at a well-paced rate.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds regularly and continually.
- Ability to sit, bend, stand, stoop, climb, grasp, stretch, and walk for long periods.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all crew members.
- Proficiency in English.
- Comfort working at heights.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or pursuit of a degree in sport management, hospitality management, or facility management.
- Previous experience at event-related project sites.
Responsibilities
- Move, pick up, and deliver equipment, supplies, and other materials as needed for events and SoFi Stadium or Hollywood Park.
- Carry out tasks as directed by the Operations Lead or full-time Operations department team members.
- Deliver, install, modify, or move furniture to support facility operations.
- Perform daily facility operational tasks to support service quality and cost efficiency.
- Operate manual and motorized pallet jacks.
- Comply with Hollywood Park and applicable agency safety policies, procedures, and requirements, and understand relevant training.
- Provide excellent customer service to the Hollywood Park community across venues and campus property.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
