About The Position

The Events Truck Driver is a full-time employee supporting the Events Team by transporting merchandise to and from client events throughout the United States for approximately 20–30 weeks during the year. The role requires a Class A CDL and experience operating diesel-powered tractor-trailers, pickup trucks with gooseneck trailers, tag-trailer combinations, and other vehicles. The driver interacts with leadership and staff and is expected to represent Legends Global Merchandise professionally, graciously, and knowledgeably. The position is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, with travel to events as needed. When not traveling, the driver may be required to support the Merchandise location.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
Ability to drive out of state approximately 20–30 weeks throughout the year; length of stay depends on travel distance and event duration.
Organized, self-motivated team player who can work independently and within a group.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating diesel-powered tractor-trailers, pickup trucks with gooseneck trailers, tag-trailer combinations, and other vehicles.
Willingness to assist with loading and unloading.

Responsibilities

Drive and park semi-tractor/trailers, equipment, and other designated vehicles at scheduled events.
Maintain driver logs in accordance with DOT regulations.
Inspect vehicles for defects before and after trips and submit reports on their condition.
Ensure proper care, use, and organization of equipment before, during, and after events.
Maintain, clean, and detail company vehicles.
Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Write routine reports and correspondence.
Assist with loading and unloading, as desired and negotiable.
Adhere to Legends’ policies and procedures associated with event personnel.
Perform other duties as assigned.
