About The Position

The Food & Beverage Supervisor leads food and beverage locations to provide quality service and consistent products. The role includes supervising operations, supporting team members, assisting with food preparation and service, and maintaining clean dining and food and beverage areas. The position is part-time and non-exempt at Legends Event Center in Bryan, Texas, and reports to the Food & Beverage Manager.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work with large groups of people in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

• One year of customer service experience with the general public preferred.
• Prior food industry experience preferred.
• Experience with the sales and service of alcohol in accordance with TABC preferred.
• Food managerial license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise tasks associated with food and beverage locations.
• Operate a cash register and balance a cash drawer.
• Communicate with patrons in a positive, friendly manner.
• Assist with labor and food cost management.
• Assist in training and developing team members.
• Clean dining and food and beverage areas; assist in preparing and serving food items; and fill condiment containers.
• Assist with unloading, lifting, and carrying food and supplies from trucks and storage areas, and place them in designated areas.
• Take and record food temperatures to ensure proper temperature controls during transportation.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by management.
