About The Position

The Food & Beverage Supervisor leads food and beverage locations at Legends Event Center, helping provide quality service and consistent products. The role includes supervising operations, supporting team members, assisting with food preparation and service, and helping manage labor and food costs. The position is part-time and non-exempt, based in Bryan, Texas, and reports to the Food & Beverage Manager.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work in a facility with intermittent noise.

Nice To Haves

One year of customer service experience with the general public.
Prior experience in the food industry.
Experience with sales and service of alcohol in accordance with TABC.
Food managerial license.

Responsibilities

Operate and supervise tasks associated with food and beverage locations.
Operate a cash register and balance a cash drawer.
Communicate with patrons in a positive, friendly manner.
Work with large groups of people in a fast-paced environment.
Assist with labor and food cost management.
Assist in training and developing team members.
Clean dining and food and beverage areas; assist with preparing and serving food; and fill condiment containers.
Assist with unloading, lifting, and carrying food and supplies from trucks and storage areas, and placing them in designated areas.
Take and record food temperatures to ensure proper temperature controls during transportation.
Complete additional tasks assigned by management.
