About The Position

Hotel Lincoln in Chicago’s Old Town is seeking an event and catering sales professional to drive sales and revenue for its catering services and create memorable events. The role builds and maintains client relationships, learns clients’ needs, and develops tailored solutions in collaboration with culinary and event teams. It includes conducting site visits, presenting proposals, identifying new business opportunities through industry and competitor research, and helping ensure exceptional service and seamless event execution. The manager also promotes the hotel and its offerings to potential clients as a brand ambassador.

Requirements

Proven sales track record, preferably in the hospitality or events industry.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Attention to detail and strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Creativity and innovation in developing unique event concepts.
Proficiency in sales and CRM software.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field preferred.
