About The Position

The Catering Event & Delivery Associate transports food and supplies to catering functions and supports events ranging from delivery and setup to full-service weddings and corporate events. Associates help ensure events run smoothly and guests receive friendly, exceptional service. Delivery tips may increase earning potential; the stated $20–$30 per hour includes hourly wage and tips. This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling. Hours vary based on booked deliveries and availability, with peak season from April through December and slower activity in January and February. Weekend events are included.

Requirements

Have reliable personal transportation for catering deliveries.
Pass a motor vehicle background check.
Have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
Be able to lift catering bags or hot boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be flexible with scheduling.
Be seeking part-time hours.

Responsibilities

Treat clients and teammates in a friendly and courteous manner.
Demonstrate integrity and do the right thing when working unsupervised.
Consistently meet deadlines.
Transport food and supplies for catered functions to and from scheduled locations using a catering vehicle and/or personal vehicle.
Complete food drops, set-and-go lunch deliveries, full-service events, and weekend events.
Set up tables, action stations, and decorations.
Arrange buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
Serve food and beverages to guests during full-service events.
Build trust and relationships.
Ensure guests receive friendly, exceptional service.
Thoroughly clean the location after an event.
Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
