About The Position

Comfort Keepers is hiring an evening in-home caregiver. Primary hours are 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., with additional hours available for those interested. The starting wage is $18 per hour for caregivers and $20–$21 per hour for CNAs. After five months of employment, caregivers are eligible to enroll in the CNA training program and receive a wage increase to $20 per hour upon certification. Free CNA classes are available for applicants who do not have a CNA credential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Able to assist both male and female clients with personal care.
• Must have held a driver's license for at least three years.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs as needed.
• Assist clients at mealtime and monitor eating habits.
• Complete required documentation and ensure compliance.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding each client.
