The job overview for this role is that the company, Watershed, is seeking a skilled marketer to join their team in Europe. The main responsibility of this role is to accelerate Watershed's growth by creating and influencing new pipeline throughout Europe. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of European markets, experience in executing marketing activities, and a mindset focused on growth. They will be responsible for developing and executing field marketing strategies, managing digital demand generation campaigns, and engaging with executive audiences and top accounts at enterprise companies. This role requires someone who can work autonomously, operate successfully in a fast-moving environment, and drive both short- and long-term growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute on first- and third-party events, including researching and vetting industry events, defining audience and content strategy, driving registration, coordinating logistics, and owning follow-up campaigns.
- Engage C-Level audiences through digital campaigns and high-touch events with targeted, persona-based messaging and content.
- Collaborate with the sales team to engage the right accounts and contacts, personalize outreach, and follow up on new leads.
- Scale digital demand generation and account-based marketing tactics to effectively target decision makers at top European accounts across paid channels.
- Help formulate and scale search engine marketing campaigns, including creating and optimizing campaigns, expanding keyword sets, testing bid strategies, and running A/B tests.
- Develop measurement frameworks to assess overall marketing performance, monitor and analyze KPIs, and report on progress towards pipeline goals.
- Research, choose, and manage external vendors and agencies as needed.
Requirements
- Experienced marketer with a deep knowledge of European markets
- Proven track record of executing marketing activities mapped to sales segments
- Comfortable working autonomously to develop and execute an event strategy that engages executives
- Able to manage demand generation campaigns to drive leads across various paid and organic channels
- Deep experience in field marketing and/or digital demand generation
- Willingness to tackle initiatives outside of comfort zone
- Ability to operate successfully in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
- Energized by driving short- and long-term growth
- Strong research and vetting skills for industry events
- Ability to define audience and content strategy for events
- Coordination and logistics management for events
- Experience engaging C-Level audiences with targeted messaging and content
