About the position
Watershed is seeking Strategic Customer Success Managers to join their team and help customers successfully navigate their climate journeys. As a CSM, you will be responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders and executives at large companies, guiding customers in using Watershed's product to achieve their climate goals, and providing feedback to improve customer value and retention. This role will also involve being at the forefront of product development and becoming deeply familiar with customers' businesses and climate needs. Relevant CSM experience in a SaaS organization and excellent communication skills are required for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the end-to-end experience of our customers
- Build trust with key stakeholders and Executives working with FTSE/DAX/CAC 40 companies
- Help customers understand and use the product to achieve business outcomes; onboard them onto the dashboard, equip them to gather the information they need about their carbon footprint, and help them set and achieve their climate plans
- Serve as the voice of the customer and provide internal feedback on how to better serve customers to maximize value and retention; help customers understand the value Watershed delivers to their business
- Be at the forefront of product development, with customers' needs driving the direction of Watershed's product
- Become deeply familiar with customers' businesses and climate, educate customers on the space, and help them hit milestones along their climate journey
- Have relevant CSM experience in a SaaS organization
- Have a track record of success building relationships, especially with strategic customers (10,000+ employees) at an executive level
- Ask the right questions to understand people's underlying needs and work with sales, product, and services leadership to deliver on those
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience working in enterprise-level customer-facing work
- Be extremely organized
