About The Position

The ERP Support Specialist provides day-to-day support, troubleshooting, training, and continuous improvement for the Epicor Kinetic ERP system. This role is the primary support resource for ERP users across the organization and collaborates with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Engineering, and IT to support effective system use. The specialist supports ERP users, investigates and resolves issues, develops reporting and analytics, assists with user training and adoption, documents business requirements, and participates in system improvements, implementations, testing, and upgrades. The role also supports user-interface customizations, workflows, integrations, and ERP data quality. This is an onsite position in Winsted, Minnesota, scheduled Monday through Friday during business hours. The hourly salary range is $32.60–$38.86. The role is non-exempt and eligible for a performance-based short-term incentive plan. A Freight Train Profit Sharing opportunity averages an additional $3.50 per hour when goals are met.

Requirements

At least 2 years of ERP support, business systems support, or application support experience.
Epicor Kinetic ERP experience.
Reporting and analytical skills.
BAQ development experience.
Fundamentals of SQL querying.
Proficiency with the Microsoft suite.

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
Other combinations of formal training and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Provide first- and second-level support for Epicor Kinetic ERP users.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve ERP-related issues; analyze root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Escalate complex issues to internal IT resources, Epicor support, or third-party consultants as needed.
Maintain support documentation and knowledge base articles.
Help users understand ERP functionality and best practices.
Identify opportunities to improve business processes through system utilization and automation.
Gather reporting requirements from department leaders and analysts.
Support data analysis and operational decision-making.
Create and maintain user guides, procedures, and training materials.
Conduct ERP training for new and existing employees and support adoption during system changes and upgrades.
Promote standard business processes and ERP best practices.
Gather and document business requirements for system improvements.
Assist with testing new functionality, configurations, and upgrades.
Participate in ERP implementation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support UI customizations and workflow improvements.
Monitor and troubleshoot ERP integrations and support data exchanges between the ERP and other business applications.
Test integration enhancements and updates.
Assist with maintaining accurate ERP data and support data import and cleanup using Epicor tools such as DMT.
Perform data validation and auditing as assigned.
