ERP Solution Delivery Project Manager
About The Position
The ERP Solution Delivery Manager is part of the Enterprise Business Applications team and manages digital transformation projects involving ERP and complementary applications, including Customer Engagement and Power Platform. The role works with technology leaders, solution architects, software developers, business analysts, quality assurance, functional design specialists, and other team members to deliver projects successfully. It manages client discussions and needs, builds strong delivery relationships, and ensures client expectations are managed. The position provides leadership across project assessment, implementation, and optimization engagements. It oversees project vision, planning, delivery, governance, methodology, communications, risk and change management, and the work of project associates and senior associates. It also contributes to improving project governance and implementation practices, mentors colleagues, and supports the development of consultants.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least six years of industry experience in ERP solution delivery management, or a high school diploma/GED and at least seven years of industry experience in ERP solution delivery management.
- At least six years of comprehensive ERP solution delivery management experience, including managing budget, risks, resources, scope, issues, changes, and quality.
- Experience with project planning, scoping, and management.
- Experience with business process analysis and design, and process flows.
- Experience planning and managing scope, timelines, or budget.
- Experience with at least one of the following solution areas: HCM, custom applications, data analytics, ERP (Dynamics 365 F&O, Business Central, or CE), NetSuite, CRM, or cybersecurity.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously, and focus on detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, documentation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong business process mapping skills.
- Ability to lead and facilitate client workshops and sessions.
- Comfort engaging with clients on multiple implementations at the same time.
- Ability to manage a diverse project team effectively and escalate performance issues to department leadership.
- Strong knowledge of solution implementation methodologies.
Nice To Haves
- Client-facing consulting experience.
- Track record of managing projects in a complex software-solutions deployment environment.
- PMP certification.
- Experience with MS Project or Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities
- Maintain strategic relationships with client personnel, including senior management.
- Manage client expectations and support delivery of difficult messages when needed to keep projects on course.
- Identify engagement risks and develop plans to manage them.
- Manage the vision of the project solution.
- Lead, oversee, and prepare project plan updates; maintain detailed work plans in Azure DevOps.
- Prepare formal and informal presentations for client meetings.
- Lead project teams, including BDO consultants and client team members, through daily scrums, planning, and status meetings.
- Guide project change plans, identify new scope, and prepare change orders.
- Provide project leadership for assessment, implementation, and optimization engagements.
- Work with the Project Manager to apply BDO’s project governance framework and maintain, publish, and store governance documentation according to BDO Quality Audit standards.
- Deliver timely client communications, including regular status reports and steering committee presentations.
- Ensure the BDO Project Team follows BDO Implementation Methodology and produces deliverables to standards and on schedule.
- Participate in refining BDO Project Governance, Implementation Methodology, contracts, and templates; mentor colleagues and provide guidance and support.
- Own and drive completion of key workstreams by associates and senior associates as directed by project leaders.
- Manage project workstreams of associates and senior associates as directed.
- Mentor and develop entry-level consultants and senior consultants.
- May act as Career Advisor to associates and senior associates.
- Perform other duties as required.
