About The Position

This position is responsible for timely and accurate patient registration, interviewing patients to obtain pertinent account information, and verifying insurance coverage. The representative analyzes the needs of patients, visitors, and vendors and directs them to the appropriate department or hospital personnel. The role also answers incoming switchboard calls and transfers calls to the appropriate individual. Clinical duties may be required as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous work experience in a healthcare reception office setting.
