About The Position

Fidelity Power Systems is hiring an Outside Equipment Sales Representative for its Sales Team in Springfield, Virginia. The role promotes the company’s value proposition to new and existing commercial and industrial customers by providing business and technical solutions. The representative drives sales of generators and related equipment while building and managing long-term customer relationships. The position also involves developing proposals and bids, estimating project costs, and coordinating with vendors to support timely delivery.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
3–5 years of related sales experience.
Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and maintain a clean driving record.
Strong communication, customer relations, and closing skills.

Nice To Haves

Power generation or electrical contract experience.
Successful sales experience in related industries, such as commercial electrical contracting or electrical power generation.

Responsibilities

Drive sales of Rehlko generators and power systems to commercial, industrial, and residential clients.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Present and demonstrate products to potential customers.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
Draft detailed, professional proposals for potential clients.
Ensure proposals comply with area codes and municipality regulations.
Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Perform job costing and project estimating to support accurate pricing and profitability.
Prepare and submit bids for projects to contractors and other stakeholders.
