About The Position

The Equipment Coordinator is responsible for the efficient management, tracking, and maintenance coordination of all company equipment to support Primoris Energy Services projects. This role ensures equipment availability, compliance, and cost-effective utilization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in equipment coordination, logistics, or fleet management, preferably within the construction, energy, or industrial services sector.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in equipment tracking software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all equipment, including location, status, maintenance history, and certifications.
  • Coordinate equipment mobilization and demobilization to and from project sites, ensuring timely delivery and return.
  • Schedule and track routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections for all equipment, working closely with maintenance personnel and external vendors.
  • Monitor equipment usage and identify opportunities for optimization and improved utilization across projects.
  • Assist in the procurement process for new equipment, including researching vendors, obtaining quotes, and processing purchase orders.
  • Conduct regular physical inventories of equipment and reconcile with system records.
  • Ensure all equipment complies with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Support project teams with equipment-related inquiries and problem-solving.
  • Process invoices and maintain accurate financial records related to equipment costs and repairs.
  • Generate reports on equipment status, utilization, and maintenance costs as required.
