About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking an Epic Willow Pharmacy Automation Analyst to apply and integrate information technology in a healthcare setting, with a focus on pharmacy automation. Under general direction, the analyst serves as a liaison between IT and operations to align system design with operational processes. The work includes data collection, workflow analysis, system configuration, testing, and support, as well as participation in application deployment and procedure documentation. The analyst ensures software builds meet organizational goals and external mandates, including HIPAA and Meaningful Use. The position requires technical knowledge of most phases of application systems analysis and project management and participation in projects of various sizes and budgets, some of which may have system-wide implications. This is a remote position requiring residency in Kentucky or Indiana.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and two years of job-related experience, or a minimum of four years of direct experience in lieu of a degree.
Residency in Kentucky or Indiana.

Responsibilities

Work independently in core areas of supported applications and resolve problems of moderate complexity.
Analyze stakeholder expectations and requirements to manage expectations.
Identify project issues and risks and resolve or escalate them as appropriate.
Collaborate with colleagues to complete tasks.
Lead or actively participate in meetings.
Participate in several projects at one time.
Provide knowledge of application software features, functionality, and utilization.
Monitor system effectiveness and performance, report critical findings to peers or a manager, and resolve moderate problems.
Participate in disaster recovery initiatives.
Review and test changes, interfaces, data conversions, enhancements, and new releases as assigned.
Provide scheduled 24/7 on-call support.
Resolve or triage support calls as applicable.
Develop and maintain test scripts reflecting proposed workflow solutions.
Support the training team by keeping trainers informed about new functionality and system changes.
