Epic Implementation Manager (Revenue Cycle)
About The Position
Prime Healthcare is seeking an Epic Implementation Manager responsible for Revenue Cycle applications and future Epic implementations across its hospitals. Under the direction of the Epic Program Manager, this leader manages implementation activities from planning and workflow design through build, testing, training, go-live, and stabilization. The role partners with hospital leadership to incorporate corporate and local initiatives, and oversees a comprehensive handoff to the Production Support team after each go-live. The manager supervises and develops analysts in the Revenue Cycle domain, builds relationships across the organization, and works with stakeholders to align system design and workflows with operational needs. The role is remote and requires frequent travel to hospital sites across the United States, especially during key implementation phases, at an estimated 50–75% annually.
Requirements
- At least six years of applicable work experience.
- At least five years of experience working with an electronic medical record.
- Experience leading an Epic implementation.
- Experience leading large teams.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least four years of experience with an integrated healthcare information system.
- At least four years of project management experience.
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry and hospital operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of future Epic implementations at Prime Healthcare hospitals for Revenue Cycle applications.
- Lead implementation activities from planning and workflow design through build, testing, training, go-live, and stabilization.
- Build relationships with hospital leadership and ensure corporate and local initiatives are incorporated into implementations.
- Supervise, coach, and develop application analysts on the Revenue Cycle team.
- Drive milestone execution, mitigate risks, and manage delivery outcomes.
- Oversee the post-go-live handoff to the Production Support team.
- Partner with stakeholders to align system design and workflows with operational needs.
