Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8-14 years of experience in Healthcare IT in an Epic Clinical Leader role.
  • Experience and certification in at least one of Epic's clinical applications (EpicCare Ambulatory, ClinDoc, Cupid, Orders, Radiant, etc.).
  • Experience working with requirement gathering from Clinical leadership.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is not required, but English is required for this position.
  • Ability to interact regularly with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in at least 1 full implementation of Epic.
  • Program or Project Management Experience.
  • Experience reporting accountability for projects/programs to executive leadership.
  • Experience in leading multiple teams through separate iterations of projects.
  • Experience with people management and adherence to business standards.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the collaboration of multiple teams (Accenture, software vendor, and client) in various areas.
  • Supporting the internal growth and development of the ATC's Epic Team.
  • Creating detailed project plans and driving them through status calls and individual updates.
  • Assisting with the analysis and design of new business workflows.
  • Identifying and defining detailed product requirements and use cases.
  • Assigning resources to projects based on skill and mastery.
  • Providing input into high-level functional specifications.
  • Participating in quality management reviews of design and performance to ensure requirements are met.
  • Performing or advising on system configuration and integration setup, and assisting with testing activities.
  • Serving as an intermediary with the client's Epic team and Accenture tech leads to support mutual understanding of data structures, workflows, and technology capabilities and limitations.
  • Assisting in the development and documentation of data requests and source-to-target mapping.
  • Other duties as assigned, which may include implementation, optimization, upgrades, and application support.
