Epic Ambulatory/MyChart
About The Position
The Epic Ambulatory/MyChart Analyst will support the expansion and optimization of Epic Smart Room capabilities as part of the Ambulatory/IP Smart Room team. The analyst will partner with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to design, build, test, and enhance functionality that improves provider and patient experiences. This is a fully remote contract position based out of Tallahassee, Florida. The role supports integrated workflows across Epic Ambulatory, MyChart, and related clinical applications. It includes gathering requirements, analyzing ambulatory workflows, recommending process improvements, troubleshooting issues, supporting enhancements and implementations, and maintaining documentation and training materials. The position requires Epic Ambulatory certification, hands-on Smart Room experience, and strong experience building and supporting MyChart workflows. The pay range is $80.00–$85.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Epic application analyst experience.
- Epic Ambulatory certification.
- Strong experience building and supporting Epic MyChart workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Epic Smart Room configuration and optimization.
- Strong understanding of ambulatory clinical workflows and provider documentation.
- Experience with requirements gathering, workflow design, testing, and implementation.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, build, test, and optimize Epic Smart Room functionality.
- Support integrated workflows across Epic Ambulatory, MyChart, and related clinical applications.
- Partner with clinical, operational, and technical teams to gather requirements and develop effective solutions.
- Analyze ambulatory workflows and recommend process improvements.
- Support the expansion of Smart Room functionality across multiple facilities.
- Troubleshoot issues and support enhancements, upgrades, testing, and implementations.
- Create and maintain build documentation, testing plans, workflow documentation, and training materials.
- Follow Epic build standards, governance processes, and best practices.
