The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for performing complete cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, sanitizing, washing surfaces, sweeping, scrubbing, refinishing floors, vacuuming, shampooing carpet, re-stocking restrooms, and replacing light bulbs. This role also involves removing waste, including collecting and transporting soiled linen, emptying trash and hazardous waste, recycling materials, and emptying cigarette receptacles. The technician will maintain equipment, ensure a safe working environment, and comply with all relevant procedures, guidelines, and standards. This position requires attending all required in-service education and training classes to maintain technical knowledge and consistently meeting time schedules and deadlines. Some outdoor cleaning may be required, potentially involving the use of a ladder.
