About The Position

This Environmental Services Lead Technician position is a full-time, 2nd shift role at Advocate/Atrium Health Lincoln. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily staff duties and assignments, ensuring that tasks meet established standards. Key functions include evaluating conditions and cleanliness through inspections and quality control measures, and coordinating staff training on the proper use of chemicals, equipment processes, and safety protocols. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a housekeeper aide or similar job.
  • Capable of working independently.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete written forms.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.
  • Required to undergo a physical ability test as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees daily staff duties and assignments in the department, and ensures completion that meets the set standard.
  • Evaluates conditions and cleanliness through inspection and quality control measures.
  • Coordinates staff training in proper use of chemicals, equipment processes, and safety issues.
  • Will limit access to protected health information (PHI) to the information reasonably necessary to do the job.
  • Will share information only on a need-to-know basis for work purposes.
