Entry Level Sales & Laborer
About The Position
Southwind, the owner of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, is hiring an Entry Level Sales & Laborer for its Field Sales & Service Team. The role combines face-to-face customer service and sales with physical work completing junk removal jobs. Team members provide pricing, close sales on the spot, and work together to complete each job. The position suits someone with sales experience who wants to stay active and work outdoors. Pay averages $22–$24 per hour, consisting of $11 per hour plus profit share and tips. Performance-based promotions may be possible within 2–3 months, with opportunities to grow into leadership roles. The work is team-oriented, active, and varied, with no repetitive warehouse or office work.
Requirements
- Strong communication and closing skills.
- Ability to repeatedly lift 50+ lbs.
- Comfort working outdoors in various conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Valid driver's license and must be 21 or older.
- Full-time availability five days per week, including four weekdays and either Saturday or Sunday.
