About The Position

The Express Service Technician performs assigned vehicle maintenance in accordance with dealership and factory standards. The role focuses on accurate, efficient work that supports vehicle safety and reliability, builds customer trust, and drives customer loyalty. Technicians communicate with the Parts Department and Service Advisors, document completed work, stay current with factory technical bulletins, and participate in factory-sponsored training as appropriate. AutoNation offers factory training, OEM certification support, and opportunities to advance into service and other career paths.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record that can be maintained.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an express or quick-lube technician is preferred.
• A passion for cars and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance listed on repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
