About The Position

Affordable Home Furnishings is hiring for a hands-on account management role combining customer service, sales, account management, payment collections, deliveries, and problem-solving. The position involves frequent customer contact in person and by phone, as well as work both inside the store and out in the field. Team members help local families furnish their homes and support daily store operations. The company describes a path to advancement into store management for motivated employees.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move furniture and appliances.
• Class D chauffeur's driver's license with a good driving record.
• Comfort working both inside the store and out in the field.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find furniture, appliances, and electronics.
• Build relationships with customers in-store, by phone, and in the community.
• Manage customer accounts and collect payments, including frequent contact by phone and in person.
• Assist with deliveries, pickups, and merchandise setup.
• Assemble furniture and prepare merchandise for the showroom.
• Maintain attractive showroom displays.
• Help customers resolve issues and find solutions.
• Load and unload merchandise.
• Clean and refurbish previously rented merchandise.
• Support daily store operations and team goals as directed by management.
