About The Position

Affordable Home Furnishings is hiring for a hands-on account management role combining customer service, sales, account management, payment collections, deliveries, and problem-solving. The position involves assisting customers with furniture, appliances, and electronics, managing customer accounts, and supporting store operations. The schedule is typically around 45 hours per week, with one weekday off and Sundays off. The company describes opportunities for career growth and advancement into store management.

Requirements

Ability to lift and move furniture and appliances.
Class D chauffeur's driver's license with a good driving record.
Comfortable working both inside the store and out in the field.

Responsibilities

Help customers find furniture, appliances, and electronics.
Build relationships with customers in-store, by phone, and in the community.
Manage customer accounts and payment collections, including frequent customer contact by phone and in person.
Assist with deliveries, pickups, and merchandise setup.
Assemble furniture and prepare merchandise for the showroom.
Maintain attractive showroom displays.
Help customers resolve issues and find solutions.
Load and unload merchandise.
Clean and refurbish previously rented merchandise.
Support daily store operations and team goals as directed by management.
