About The Position

Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking an entry-level associate attorney admitted or pending admission in New Jersey to join its growing real estate and default services law firm. The firm seeks a motivated, hardworking attorney willing to put in the work to succeed individually and contribute to the firm’s growth. The ideal candidate is aggressive, communicates effectively, and delivers the quality of work clients expect. The position can be based in the firm’s New York City or Philadelphia office and may involve travel to local state courts.

Requirements

• Must be admitted or pending admission in New Jersey.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and research skills.
• Must appear at settlement conferences, status conferences, and other dispositive motions or hearings.

Nice To Haves

• Prior lender-side default services experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and file summons and complaints, dispositive motions, and other relevant responsive pleadings.
• Travel to local state courts as needed to appear at settlement conferences, status conferences, and other dispositive motions or hearings.
