About The Position

Medical Diagnostic Laboratories (MDL), a member of Genesis Global Group, is a CLIA-certified clinical laboratory specializing in automated DNA-based molecular analysis and PCR testing, with a broad infectious disease testing menu. MDL is expanding its U.S. sales force and seeks a high-energy, self-motivated Entry Level Account Manager to maintain a large base of existing customers and act as a liaison between management and customers to resolve customer issues. The role focuses on growing revenue from existing clients, maintaining long-term relationships, educating customers about tests, and supporting client retention across the assigned territory.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of successful customer service experience.
• Well-developed multitasking and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound judgment and decision-making ability.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office, Excel, email, and internet functions.
• Ability to travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide.
• Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls; sit, stand, and walk; and drive a motor vehicle.
• Medical Assistant certification or an associate degree.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory testing and competing products.

Responsibilities

• Grow client-base revenue by presenting new test information, upselling, and identifying new revenue sources among existing clients.
• Establish positive, long-term client relationships.
• Educate and train clients, research problems, and coordinate solutions between the laboratory and clients.
• Work with the Senior Sales Executive and Regional Manager to identify client concerns and help develop and implement client-retention strategies.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report client satisfaction levels and recommend corrective action when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of competitors and their presence in the assigned territory.
• Travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide.
