About The Position

Medical Diagnostic Laboratories (MDL), a member of Genesis Global Group, is a CLIA-certified clinical laboratory specializing in automated DNA-based molecular analysis and PCR testing, with a broad infectious disease testing menu. MDL is expanding its sales force and seeks a high-energy, self-motivated Entry Level Account Manager to maintain and grow a large base of existing customers. The Account Manager serves as a liaison between management and customers, resolving customer issues and supporting client retention and revenue growth in the assigned territory.

Requirements

1–3 years of successful customer service experience.
Well-developed multitasking and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Sound judgment and decision-making ability.
Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, email, and internet functions.
Ability to travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide.
Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls; sit, stand, and walk; and drive a motor vehicle.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of laboratory testing and competing products.
Medical Assistant certification or an associate degree; a BA/BS is preferred.

Responsibilities

Grow client base revenues by presenting new test information, upselling, and identifying new sources of revenue from existing clients.
Establish positive, long-term client relationships.
Educate and train clients, research problems, and coordinate solutions between the laboratory and clients.
Work with the Senior Sales Executive and Regional Manager to identify client concerns and help develop and implement client retention strategies.
Monitor, evaluate, and report client satisfaction, recommending corrective action as needed.
Maintain knowledge of competitors and their presence in the assigned territory.
