About The Position

Medical Diagnostic Laboratories (MDL), a member of Genesis Global Group, is a CLIA-certified clinical laboratory specializing in automated DNA-based molecular analysis, including PCR testing across infectious disease and other areas. MDL is expanding its U.S. sales force and seeks a high-energy, self-motivated Entry Level Account Manager to maintain and grow an existing customer base. The role serves as a liaison between management and customers, helping resolve customer issues and strengthen client relationships.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of successful customer service experience.
• Well-developed multitasking and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound judgment and decision-making ability.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, email, and internet functions.
• Ability to travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of laboratory testing and competing products.
• Medical Assistant certification or an associate degree.
• BA/BS degree.

Responsibilities

• Grow client-base revenue by presenting information about new tests, up-selling, and identifying new revenue opportunities with existing clients.
• Establish positive, long-term client relationships.
• Educate and train clients, research problems, and coordinate solutions between the laboratory and the client.
• Work with the Senior Sales Executive and Regional Manager to identify client concerns and help develop and implement client-retention strategies.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report client satisfaction, recommending corrective action when appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of competitors and their presence in the assigned territory.
