About The Position

American Overhead Door, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is hiring Entry Door Technicians to service a variety of entry doors and door hardware. Technicians troubleshoot issues and work independently with close attention to detail. Relevant backgrounds may include general labor, carpentry, service, installation, mechanics, assembly, construction, or other skilled trades. Commercial door and welding experience is a plus but is not required. The position includes a company truck and company-paid fuel, tool and boot allowances, and paid training. Requirements

Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Ability to safely lift up to 100 lbs. over your head.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Commercial door and welding experience is a plus, but not required.
Background as a general laborer, carpenter, installer, mechanic, assembly worker, or in construction or skilled trades is helpful.

Responsibilities

Service commercial entry doors, door hardware, dock equipment, and other products cleanly and accurately.
Troubleshoot technical issues and work without direct supervision.
Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services to customers.
Track, maintain, and submit accurate job-related paperwork in a timely manner.
Operate safely and professionally at every job site.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
