About The Position
DH Pace Door Service, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Entry Door Technician based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The technician installs and repairs a variety of commercial doors and door hardware while providing quality workmanship and excellent customer service. The role involves operating safely, identifying opportunities to offer customers additional products and services, and completing other assigned duties. Requirements
- Experience in a similar role or a role requiring mechanical aptitude is preferred.
- Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to work at heights and use a ladder.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Successful completion of required employment verifications, background check, drug screen, and driving record check (if applicable) before hire.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Experience in a similar role or one requiring mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Install and/or repair commercial doors and door hardware, including roll-up (dock) doors, dock equipment, high-speed rolling doors, and commercial entry doors.
- Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
- Operate in a safety-conscious manner while performing job duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
