About The Position

The Entry Cook supports the Latitude kitchen team at Black Desert Resort’s 20th Hole, preparing food according to established recipes, standards, and procedures. The role focuses on foundational cooking techniques, station setup, food preparation, and assisting with service in a fast-paced, ultra-premium resort environment. The Entry Cook is expected to show attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow as part of a professional culinary team.

Requirements

Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Willingness to learn and take direction in a professional kitchen environment.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare food for assigned stations according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
Assist with daily preparation, including chopping, slicing, portioning, and basic cooking.
Set up and break down stations before and after service.
Maintain clean, organized workstations, coolers, and storage areas.
Follow food-handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Support service execution by assisting senior cooks and chefs during peak periods.
Monitor food quality, freshness, and rotation according to FIFO standards.
Assist with receiving, stocking, and storing food deliveries as needed.
Communicate with kitchen team members to support smooth service flow.
Report equipment issues, shortages, or safety concerns to kitchen leadership.
Uphold Black Desert Resort’s culinary and service standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
