About The Position

The Entitlements Technician performs benefit and entitlement functions for conservator and minors’ estates. The role completes a high volume of Medicaid applications and reports each month within strict deadlines, contacts state workers to maintain Medicaid eligibility, and resolves issues involving health and pension benefits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience.
• Valid Missouri Driver’s License.
• Use of a personal vehicle for limited driving within Jackson County.
• Must submit to and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform benefit and entitlement functions for conservator and minors’ estates.
• Complete a high volume of Medicaid applications and reports each month within strict deadlines.
• Contact state workers in person, by phone, fax, and letters regarding continuing eligibility for Medicaid benefits.
• Answer and resolve issues related to health and pension benefits through meetings, phone calls, emails, and letters with creditors, facilities, and benefit agencies.
