About The Position

The Entitlements Technician performs benefit and entitlement functions for conservator and minors’ estates. The role involves completing a high volume of Medicaid applications and reports each month within strict deadlines. The technician contacts state workers in person, by phone, fax, and letter to support the continuing eligibility of Medicaid benefits, and resolves issues concerning health and pension benefits raised by creditors, facilities, and benefit agencies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience.
• Valid Missouri driver’s license.
• Use a personal vehicle for limited driving within Jackson County.
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform benefit and entitlement functions for conservator and minors’ estates.
• Complete a high volume of Medicaid applications and reports each month within strict deadlines.
• Contact state workers in person, by phone, fax, and letter regarding continuing eligibility for Medicaid benefits.
• Address and resolve health and pension benefit issues through meetings, phone calls, emails, and letters from creditors, facilities, and benefit agencies.
