About The Position

Omnea is hiring a foundational member of its Sales Engineering team to serve as the technical authority in enterprise sales. Working alongside Sales and in close collaboration with Product and the Customer team, this role helps win large enterprise customers by running discovery, building and directing demos and proofs of concept (PoCs), and advising prospects on Omnea’s technical fit. The role calls for expertise in modern finance and procurement systems—including ERPs, CLMs, GRC, and AP automation—and the ability to use AI-generated first drafts while applying human judgment to ensure demos, configurations, and technical responses are accurate and relevant. The position owns technical discovery and demos, end-to-end PoCs, responses to technical and security questions, and the handoff from signed contract to live deployment. It also maintains the pre-sales toolkit, including demo environments, technical documentation, and RFP libraries. Omnea works in person at its offices on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The company describes itself as ambitious and offers competitive geo-localised benefits; package details vary by location.

Requirements

  • A strong technical foundation, with the ability to learn a complex software platform quickly and answer technical security and architecture questions.
  • Ability to direct AI tools to produce first-draft demos, configurations, and RFP responses, and to identify errors before prospects see them.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to stakeholders such as CFOs, CPOs, and CISOs.
  • Proactive problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a customer-first mindset.
  • Comfort owning RFPs, RFIs, and IT security questionnaires end to end, including their technical requirements.

  • Scope and own proof-of-concepts with Product and the Customer team, directing AI configuration and determining whether each PoC demonstrates what the prospect needs to see.
  • Oversee first-pass AI-drafted responses to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires, validating answers against prospect requirements.
  • Translate field feedback into product feedback and coordinate a clean handoff to the Customer team from signed contract through live deployment.
