About The Position

Meter is hiring an Enterprise Sales Engineer to partner with its Enterprise Sales team and use technical expertise to help customers adopt Meter’s networking infrastructure. The role is part of an early Enterprise Sales Engineering team that will establish the technical capabilities and processes needed to compete with legacy vendors. The position combines customer-facing sales support, development of sales assets and standards, and translation of customer requirements to the Product team. Success includes building relationships with Sales, Sales Engineering, hardware and software design and manufacturing, and customer deployment and maintenance teams; developing subject-matter expertise across Meter’s networking portfolio; and contributing to enterprise revenue through technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and deal execution. The role will also create internal training and technical resources for common enterprise use cases, and relay feedback from complex deployments to inform the product roadmap. Meter describes paths to principal-level work, vertical specialization, strategic-account leadership, or people leadership.
