About The Position

Meter is hiring an Enterprise Sales Engineer to partner with the Enterprise Sales team and use technical networking expertise to help win customers. The role is part of an early team of Enterprise Sales Engineers building the technical capabilities and processes needed to compete with established vendors. The position supports Sales and Product through deal execution, development of sales assets and standards, and translation of customer requirements into product feedback. Success includes building trusted relationships with Sales, Sales Engineering, hardware and software teams, and network deployment and maintenance teams; developing expertise across Meter’s networking portfolio; and contributing to Enterprise revenue by leading technical discovery and designing solutions. The role also develops reference architectures, integration guides, training, and standardized approaches to complex use cases, with the aim of accelerating sales cycles and improving win rates. Career paths may include Principal Sales Engineer, vertical specialization, strategic account leadership, or a leadership track. The work is described as approximately 60% deal execution, 25% building assets and standards, and 15% product translation.
