About The Position
The Senior Manager / Manager, DC Risk is responsible for managing the prevention, detection, and resolution of loss at Aritzia’s Distribution Centres. The role safeguards the security of Aritzia’s people, intellectual property, information, merchandise, property, and financial assets by ensuring effective execution of DC risk management practices and identifying opportunities to improve them. The position also leads the department’s day-to-day operations in partnership with Business Support teams, supports corporate objectives, and fosters employee development and a positive employee experience.
Requirements
- Proven skills, certifications, education, and/or experience in Enterprise Risk Management.
- Commitment to learn and apply Aritzia’s Values and Business and People Leadership principles.
- Ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners.
- Commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team in working with appropriate Business Support partners to manage the department’s day-to-day function in support of corporate objectives, career development, and employee experience.
- Establish Aritzia’s approach to Enterprise Risk Management.
- Safeguard people, clients, and communities.
- Safeguard intellectual property, personal information, and corporate information.
- Safeguard merchandise, physical assets, and financial assets.
- Ensure effective execution of DC risk management practices and identify opportunities to improve them.
