About The Position

As a Functional Consultant at Medius, you will be a core member of the Enterprise Professional Services team, guiding customers through implementation of Medius’s spend management suite. You will work directly with accounts payable and finance teams to configure Medius solutions, lead workshops, and help customers go live with confidence.

This is a hands-on delivery role. You will own functional workstreams within implementation projects, from solution design and configuration through testing, training, and go-live support. You will work closely with Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and the customer’s project team.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in IT system implementations, ideally in cloud-based or SaaS environments.
• Understanding of accounts payable, finance, or spend management processes.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with end users and project stakeholders.
• Organized, with the ability to manage tasks across multiple projects simultaneously.
• A solution-oriented mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics (AX/F&O, NAV/BC), Oracle NetSuite, or Infor M3.
• Background in Spend Management, Accounts Payable, or Purchase-to-Pay processes.
• Prior experience in a consulting or professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure Medius solutions based on customer requirements and implementation best practices.
• Facilitate workshops and deliver training sessions, either on-site or remotely.
• Analyze customers’ existing accounts payable and spend management processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support customers through user acceptance testing, go-live, and hypercare phases.
• Produce and maintain solution documentation, including specifications and change requests.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Technical Consultants throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
